Band Theraband
Theraband/resistance band?
I am a dancer and am looking to strengthen my ankles and feet. I heard that the Theraband would help. I am not sure what color to get or even what brand. Can someone explain all of this to me? Thanks!

And i use a theraband all the time- they are really great for not only strengthening your feet but your arms too!
Now, the strength you get depends on how strong your feet are now and how strong you want them to be. If you want you could start off by getting a weaker one and working your way up, progressing as you go by changing the strength of the band as your feet get stronger. Or, you could jump into a middle of the range strength that suits the average person if you feel your feet are okay but you want them stronger, or you could do what i did- start off with the strongest one i could find 
The colours and strengths go as follows:
Yellow- thin.
Red- medium.
Green- heavy (or medium depending on what brand you get).
Blue- extra heavy.
Black- special heavy (this is what i have- you can really feel it work your feet).
I’m not too sure on brand names because i live in New Zealand so maybe our brands are different to yours, but i just went down to my local sports store and they had heaps to chose from. Or, you could get them from the chemist- they have them in big roles, that way you can cut off how ever long you want it to be and keep replacing it once it gets a bit warn down- but you might want to do that once you know what strength suits you.
