Commercial Elliptical

Commercial Elliptical
What’s the most effective at-home exercise machine?

i was thinking about the bowflex Treadclimber, it’s like an elliptical and treadmill, I’m almost sure you’ve seen the commercial. i viewed the info and what i like about it is that’s it’s low impact and it “burns more calories” than either of those machines.
i want a machine that’s effective, low impact on the joints and the wallet. what do you think?
p.s.
i hate going to gyms (all those sweaty germs,EEEWWW!) and personal trainers are out of the question. i’m also aware of dieting and exercising 3x’s a week w/weights too, and drinking plenty of water.

That’s a good choice, but the machine you like and use is the most effective; for me it’s a treadmill. You can buy machines used…I agree, it beats the gym and you can just get up and get going. Works for me.

A while ago, people swore by the ski machines, but they are a bit hard to use. So they fell in disfavor. But they do give you low impact and use the upper arms, as well.

Many people swear by those elliptical climbers and they do take up a bit less space than a treadmill.

But overall, a treadmill is best. You can walk, run, and some even do hill programs. Weight bearing exercise is best, and walking is natural motion.
